The fourth annual Living Well With Parkinson’s Disease Conference will occur on Saturday, November 4, 2017 from 8:30 am - 3:30 pm at The DoubleTree by Hilton in Greentree. Over 270 participants attended the event last year and we anticipate a larger crowd this year!

Whether you have been recently diagnosed or have been living with Parkinson Disease for years, the Living Well Conference will provide important information and resources to help you manage Parkinson Disease and live a balanced, full life.

Our keynote speaker will feature John Baumann, former corporate attorney and current inspirational speaker living with PD. John’s presentation topic is titled, “Positively Un-Shake-Able: What You Can Do to Succeed in Living the Best Life Possible.” Other morning highlights include Dr. Van Laar, UPMC Movement Disorder Specialist, who will present on current research as well as Karl and Angela Robb’s informative session on “Uncovering the Power of Your Body, Mind and Spirit.”

Afternoon breakout sessions include presentations focused on social capital, caregiving, nutrition and building your personal toolkit to best cope with PD.

There will also be a diverse resource area with medical, allied medical, health and community support organizations providing information on programs and services that can be beneficial to people living with Parkinson Disease and their families.

We look forward to a day full of enrichment, education and fellowship within the Parkinson Community.
